What are The Steps in Getting Your Complete Denture Made at Shan Dental?

● Schedule your appointment, give your insurance information, and fill out an online patient form in advance to serve you better.

● For the first appointment, Dr. Pathak will do :

First Step – a comprehensive oral exam with panoramic x-ray/CBCT and a few clinical pictures. She will go over all your concerns and help you decide the best treatment option. If you agree, Dr. Pathak will make an impression on the same day and start creating your dentures. It usually takes 4-5 appointments, but luckily, with an in-house lab, your time in between all appointments won’t be long. Furthermore, Dr. Pathak will explain all the steps and provide information on how she is processing your dentures.
2nd Step: final impression in the custom fit tray
3rd Step: Jaw relation record shows how you close your upper and lower jaws.
4th Step: All patients’ favorite teeth are tried. We recommend you bring your loved ones to this appointment so you can all see your denture teeth in wax and visualize the final result.
5th Step: denture delivery. We will make sure the denture fits you well and does not hurt when you put it in and chew. We’ll also provide home-care instructions and information for a new user guide for denture patients.
